This course is the second level of a two-semester sequence of Digital Music Production. This course will introduce students to the basic concepts of music production with a focus on audio recording and editing, digital sampling, loop/sample-based music creation, and the use of audio effects.Utilizing Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs), students will create songs in different genres of popular music using virtual instruments, loops/samples, and self-recorded audio tracks.
